The interview:
Hi, Bea! Welcome to the blog!
Hello Sab! Thank you for having me on your blog and welcome back! :D
The most basic question to kick off our interview: what's the story behind your blog? What made you start it?
I started blogging out of curiosity. I want to have my own site where I can share my thoughts about the books I'm reading or have read and Confessions of a Pinay Bookaholic was born. The name is inspired from Sophie Kinsella's Confessions of a Shopaholic.
What's your favorite thing about blogging?
My favorite thing about blogging is to connect with readers all over the world, sharing our love and passion for books.
What is your guilty pleasure trope?
Enemies to Lovers. I can never get enough of this trope. If a book has this trope, it's an automatic read for me.
Imagine cleaning out your shelf ala Marie Kondo. What's one book (or series) you won't ever EVER give away?
This is a tough question. As much as I love all my books, I don't think I'll ever give away Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. It'll always be my prized possession because it's a series that turned me into a book lover.
If you could dine with three of your favorite authors, who would they be and why?
If I'm given an opportunity, I'd love to dine with Ms. J.K. Rowling -- it'll be an ultimate dream to meet her in person, Ms. Tammara Webber -- to thank her for introducing my to New Adult books and Nora Roberts -- I'd love to ask her about her journey on writing books.
The lightning round:
Book you'd recommend in an instant: In the Company of Killers series by J.A. Redmerski
Book you would bring on trip out of town: To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han
Book you've been meaning to get but haven't yet: All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover
Book you wish would get adapted: The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
Book you wish was longer: Hello, Goodbye and Everything in Between by Jennifer E. Smith
Thanks for dropping by, Bea! <3
